Sheryl Rains is planning to use her ATP award as a volunteer for Northwoods Air Lifeline.
Sally Sparks is a teacher and does charitable work in Guatemala. She was a 2002 recipient of a Future Women Pilots award.
The 2008 Maule Tailwheel Training Award, for 10 hours of tailwheel training, presented to a 99 who has no prior tailwheel experience, has been donated by Maule Flight, Inc, Moultrie, GA. And the 2008 winner is Christina Stark of the Wisconsin Chapter.
For the past two years, we have had no applicants for the Future Women Pilot awards. We are concerned that we are not reaching our prospective young pilots, and we encourage all of you to provide suggestions on how we can best achieve this important goal. Your suggestions and future nominations will be gratefully accepted.
Congratulations to all of our winners!
